
Sorrel Drink
Ingredients:
- 1 pound raw sorrel
- 8 (4g) sachets Jamaica Mountain Peak Instant Ginger Tea (Unsweetened)
- 8 cups boiling water
- 1 1/2 cups sugar (or to individual taste)
- 6 whole cloves (optional)
- 8 pimento seeds (optional)
- 1/4 cup white rum (optional)
Directions:
- Wash Sorrel
- Place sorrel, ginger, cloves, and pimento (optional) in a stainless steel container
- Pour on boiling water, cover ad leave to infuse for 4-6 hours
- Strain, add sugar, rum (optional) and mix well
- Pour int serving container
- Served chilled
